February 28, 2017

Some people tend to kick others when they’re down. Sometimes that’s how we treat ourselves. Confrontation, honesty, even tough love, can go a long way in cementing solid relationships. All these things go even further if they’re delivered in a nurturing way.

Application: The best time to nurture is when people are down: blue, scared, sick, hurt, stressed, or depressed. Sometimes it’s fun to be nurturing for no reason at all, other than it makes other people feel good. The nurturer also ends up feeling better.
