Self-Acceptance – Day 5
March 08, 2023
“I’m really cranky,” a friend said. “When I’m at work lately, I’ve just got to bite my tongue or put my hand over my mouth.”
Accepting ourselves doesn’t mean we do or say whatever we want. Sometimes it means letting ourselves have our bad days without imposing them on anyone else.
Action: It’s good to have people who challenge you to improve. But what a relief when you find people who totally allow you to be who you are. If you haven’t received acceptance from others, maybe you could take a minute and give some to yourself.
You only need to accept who, what, and where you are today. Then the oddest thing happens. You’re either given the power to change, by your Higher Power, or given the grace to live with the rest.
