Practice – Day 6
July 24, 2020
When I first started learning about values like letting go, ex pressing my feelings honestly, and surrendering, I thought, “Oh, how nice. This was the lesson. I’ll just apply it to this circumstance, and go merrily on my way.” I have long since discovered that living these values is not a once-in-a-while thing. It has taken me a long time to understand—to really get—that most life experiences are not a one-time lesson. We’re going to need to practice our values all our lives.
Gratitude Focus: Just starting out on a spiritual path? New to recovery? Been at it for a long time? We can be grateful that no matter how long we’ve been striving to apply spiritual principles in our lives, the basics always work.
