Colors – Day 2

January 01, 2019

I’m a dinosaur. I still believe in—and love to talk about— feelings. But like someone said, “Dinosaurs are ‘in’ right now.” They’re the rage.

Application: When we get stuck in a feeling such as depression, anger, or guilt, when we feel ashamed about what we feel, or worse yet, when we go numb, it’s time to reconnect with our emotional world. What’s really going on under the numbness, irritation, or guilt? It’s okay to talk about it. Feeling our emotions doesn’t mean walking around exploding. We can open up our heart and share some of the tender feelings—the ones that make us vulnerable—with someone we love.
